Bonjor ! and Kon'nichiwa !
Dear Louise, Marielle & Guy Renard and Clemence,
I am so delighted to have received the notification that my application to the YCE programme has been accepted ,and now I am looking forward to seeing my tall sister Louise again and your whole family. I would appreciate it very much if you could extend my heartfelt appreciation to your grand father Mr.Phileppe Renard, Mrs.Mirelle Brugere-Vanier, President of Lions Club Le Harvre Doyen, Mrs.Brigitte Ollivier, French manager of the Youth exchange to have made my visit to your place possible.
As I am majoring in photography at the Art department of Nippon University in Tokyo I am so excited that I could see most respectable France , the country of valuable art and culture at first hand and I am convinced that I would be able to broaden my own horizon of my creative activities at the University and also in my future career.
During your stay at our home this summer I realized how little I knew about our own history and culture to introduce to you . And at the same time I felt that I found out we have many ideas and thoughts in common between the two countries. You had my eyes open to the values and the wounderfulness of our town and Japanese culture. To be very frank with you, thanks to your interest in our culture I grew to have more interest in Japanese culture as well as that of France. You might be surprised to know that I would be moved and excited toward the things that you might take it just ordinary or very usual.
I am truly looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you and hoping to exchange feelings and thoughts as much as I can to deepen our mutual friendship.
As you might already be well aware I am very interested in J apanese traditional Ura-senke Cha-do and Kimono. Upon my arrival It would be so nice if you woud give me some chance that I could serve you tea in Komono. I am a very lucky person that we already know each other very well and have many common interests, like Anime, Manga, Rock'n Roll music and so forth.
Looking Forward To Seeing You and Your Family Soon,
Very Friendly Yours,
